winter-snow-coverd-pines-logoThe snowmobiling season for 2017 is starting out great!  Since the first of December, we have received multiple days of snowfall, and it is snowing as I post this update!  The groomers have been out each week making the trails great! Cold temperatures are thickening the ice on lakes and swamps, but please be careful.

Come enjoy our fantastic trail system and support the local businesses in our area!

The Forest Riders Snowmobile Club trail system is open and very rideable!  Trails were compacted with the groomer's roller during the last two weeks, making for a good base.  Several riders have been out and commented on how nice the trails are even though they have not been fully groomed yet.  With the snow received on Sunday and Monday, the groomers are hitting the trails today!  Come to the Park Rapids area and enjoy snowmobiling in the great up north!

Riding in the Two Inlets Forest

All trails will be groomed again this week and are in good to great shape.  If you haven't been through Two Inlets State Forest or Itasca Park this year, it is definitely worth taking a ride!
