For several years, the Forest Riders Snowmobile Club has held an annual Ride for Hospice. Last year the club raised over $6,000 for the CHI St. Joseph's Health Hospice Care. This year, our goal is to raise the same amount or exceed it! The 2020 Raffle Ride for Hospice is this week starting on Thursday, February 27 through Saturday, February 29 (click on the link for more info on the raffle). Get a group of friends and family together and ride by snowmobile or car to the sponsoring businesses! An after-ride get together will be at Clancy's with music by Lydia Rose and the R.A. Boys from 8pm-12am. Drawing for raffle prizes of $1,000, $500, and $200 at 10pm.
When you purchase a $5 raffle ticket, besides being entered into the drawing for the raffle prizes, you are also eligible for door prizes being given away by the participating business.
Plan your ride! Here is the listing of participating businesses and their location on the trail map:

Thanks to a good base, the trails overall are in great shape! There are a few thin spots in some of the ditches and heavily traveled areas. With the return of colder temperatures, the trails held up well. Groomers are out this week grooming all the trails getting them ready for the 2020 Forest Riders Raffle Ride for Hospice!

Trail Report: Last weekend's warm temperatures didn't affect our trails, they held up great! All our groomers are out and will do the entire system before the weekend. Unfortunately the chance for snow is slim, but ideal temperatures are in the forecast for the week. Think snow!
Check out the Hospice Raffle Ride being held Thursday-Saturday, February 27-29 (under Events). This is a casual, ride at your own leisure event. The more places you stop the more door prizes you'll be entered in. All proceeds will benefit Hospice!

Lower temperatures and a great base have kept the trails ideal. Groomers have been out this week and the trails are setting up nicely. Temperatures for the weekend will be in the lower 30s. Safe riding!
